Fortesta Review 2019 -Benefits & Side Effects of This Testosterone Product-

What is Fortesta?

Hypogonadism is a disorder in which the body faces lowered activity in the gonads specifically the testes in men and ovaries in women. In men, it causes a drop in levels of testosterone, progesterone, DHEA, and activin. It usually results in impaired muscle and beard development, enlarged breasts, and sexual difficulties. Detection of hypogonadism is easily done by means of a blood test. Doctors and physicians usually recommend doses of testosterone to counter it.

Hypogonadism is a fairly serious disorder but is quite treatable. There are a number of reasons why someone may develop hypogonadism, ranging from congenital defects to injuries to illnesses. Mumps has testicular failure as a symptom, and when contracted early in life, mumps can cause hypogonadism. Apart from that, Klinefelter Syndrome or Turner Syndrome have also been known to cause hypogonadism.

One of the biggest causes of hypogonadism, however, is age. Beyond a certain age, the androgen level in most men drops, causing hypogonadism. This is known as late-onset hypogonadism, and a large number of men in late middle age suffer from it. The common symptoms are depression, loss of libido, erectile dysfunction, loss of muscle mass, weight gain and poor concentration, among others. While a fair number of these symptoms can be the result of unhealthy lifestyles and bad diets, it is easy to confirm by checking testosterone levels in the blood. For those people afflicted with late-onset hypogonadism, testosterone levels in the blood drop by around 1% each year.

Fortesta effects

The major effects of hypogonadism in men are low hormone production or lack of fertility, but depending on the severity of the condition, some men may very well show both symptoms.
There are three different ways that hypogonadism can be treated. The first and most well-known method is testosterone replacement therapy. These therapies are done in several ways. Testosterone can be replaced via transdermal patches, transdermal gels, injections or even pellets. Oral testosterone is no longer used, since it is usually broken down in the liver, and has the potential to cause liver damage. These treatments usually take 2-3 months to work, and the testosterone levels need to be carefully monitored throughout.

The second method involves using human chorionic gonadotropin, which promotes testosterone synthesis. This particular treatment is mostly used by men who wish to retain their fertility, as testosterone replacement therapy tends to reduce spermatogenesis.

The third method is the least intense, and it involves using clomifene, a drug that stimulates the body to produce its own testosterone. It increases hormone levels naturally, and it avoids side effects like infertility. Also, due to the low dose, it can be taken safely for periods of up to 2 years. This method is only useful for men who suffer from secondary hypogonadism, as it brings the actual function of the gonad up to normal levels. People with primary hypogonadism cannot benefit from it, as their gonads are innately flawed.

Given all of these methods, it is vital that patients do their research before deciding on a therapy. There are a large number of products on the market that claim to help people boost their testosterone levels quickly. However, there is no real shortcut. Boosting testosterone levels is a risky business, which carries with it a greater risk of cardiovascular events like heart attacks or strokes.

Fortesta is a testosterone gel that is used in remedying hypogonadism. It is a patented formula that uses Testosterone as an active ingredient. It is a prescription drug that has to be used carefully as it is open to abuse. Also, the gel is extremely strong and can cause side effects not only to the user but also to the people who come in second-hand contact with it. In fact, the potency of the Fortesta is so high that their official website starts off with a big warning banner in the middle of the page. However, it should also be noted that Fortesta has been in clinical studies and has been cleared by the FDA.

What are the ingredients of Fortesta?

Testosterone USP – Testosterone USP is a white powder which is the active ingredient in the Fortesta gel. It is one of the only known substances as the formula is patent protected. The powder is commonly used to treat hypogonadism in men but can also be abused by athletes.

How to use Fortesta?

Fortesta is a gel that comes in canisters along with a pump to apply it. Each canister is usually 60mg, and one pump actuation releases about 10 mg of the gel. The daily dosage is around 40mg or four pump actuation applied to inner thighs. Once the gel has been applied, wash your hands with water and soap immediately. Also, keep the application area covered with clothes. Usually, the gel is to be applied early in the morning after taking a shower. The minimum dosage is 10 mg, while the maximum dosage should not exceed 70 mg. It should also be noted that overdose of Fortesta can cause serious problems and might require immediate medical attention. Also, the gel is flammable so you should wait at least two hours before smoking or working with fire or before swimming.

When the canisters are changed, be sure to actuate the pump eight times to remove all the residue inside. Do not use the gel that comes out during these actions. Either wash it off or throw it in the garbage to reduce chances of contact. Fortesta is highly dangerous transferrable and can cause a wide variety of side effects to children and women if it comes in contact with them. If you expect any skin-to-skin contact, then wash the application areas first with running water and soap. Be sure to store the canisters and the pump in a cool, dry place and out of reach of children.

Drawbacks of Fortesta

  • Side effects – Fortesta has some very common side effects like blood clots, prostate swelling, increased risk of heart attack or stroke, swelling of ankles, feet or body, etc. It also should be avoided in case you have prostate cancer or male breast cancer.
  • Interaction with other drugs – Fortesta can react with other drugs that are commonly used for blood pressure and cardiovascular ailments. It is always a good idea to consult your physician before using Fortesta.
  • Unproved effects per age – There is no known study which shows the efficiency of Fortesta in age-related hypogonadism. Thus people who experience it due to advanced age might not benefit at all.
  • Effects of pre-pubescent children – It is not known if Fortesta is safe or effective for children under eighteen. It has been known to cause puberty like symptoms in children like growing of pubic hair, enlargement of penis and clitoris, and advanced bone age. While these effects are known not to be permanent, they don’t regress completely.
  • Fetal danger – Pregnant women who come in contact with Fortesta can cause the side effects to extend to the fetus. It also applies to lactating women who might find themselves at the end of diminished breast functions.
  • Drug abuse – Fortesta has been known to be abused by athletes to improve performance. Also, an overdose of Fortesta even by mistake calls for immediate medical attention.

Final verdict

The final verdict is to avoid Fortesta. There are too many doubts about the efficiency, and the side effects can be particularly harsh. A combination of drugs should be preferred to remedy hypogonadism without such a second-hand danger to the people around you. Also, the non-working on men of advancing age means that it has a very small window of activity, and if you have missed it already, then you are just wasting money. There are multiple alternatives available in the market which are made of natural ingredients and are safer.

  1. Horse hockey….any fool can see a bias toward your product. Fortesta is safe as directed and most side effect warnings are anecdotal at best as no proof has been scientifically provided to substantiate any of the stated side effects of a serious nature.
